The comparative table of the price of nuts below represents the average costs observed in 3 stores (two groceries + a natural food store) in June 2008 on southern shore of Montreal. Note that all the nuts are not necessarily found in every groceries.

The price indicated consists of a portion of one kilogram. If the quantities of nut you buy at the same time are smaller, then the prices can be higher. Also, the price can change according to the season or the source of nuts
